Bark
and Coconut base mixes designed specifically for the various orchid varieties

specify bark or coconut when ordering
Bark is considered the “tried and true”
material, but future availability is questionable
Coconut is relatively new, lasts 50% longer,
costs less to ship & the supply is easily replenished. It holds water
better so if you can not water regularly is better.
Methods of ordering
- Print and fill in the following
order blank with check or credit card info. Existing customers can be
billed, check payment within 30 days, if desired.
- Email your order to rfs@orchidmix.com
with your phone number and we will call for credit card info if required
or you can email and call in your own credit card.
- Call in your order. You may get an
answering service so leave a phone number in case there is a question.
I am often asked how many pots will it fill? The
following is submitted as a guideline only as variables on the number or
roots and differences in manufacturer’s pot sizes vary.

FlexiMix®
has high air-filled porosity and a uniquely high water holding capacity.
This means not only greater water retention (and thus less watering by you)
but an aggregate structure that will prevent over-watering. FlexiMix® also
contains a blend of organic substrates, micronutrients and active
biologicals. It should not be allowed to totally dry out. It has been used
with cymbidiums, Paphs & others does not work well for Cattleyas
